The graduate program aims to cultivate highly skilled professionals and expert researchers for industry and offers both master’s and doctoral degree programs. The fields of specialization are broadly divided into Thermal and Fluid Engineering and Solid Mechanics and Control Engineering.

The Thermal and Fluid Engineering area comprises research laboratories specializing in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, computational fluid dynamics, energy engineering, thermal environmental control and energy/material circulation. The Solid Mechanics and Control Engineering area comprises research laboratories specializing in advanced materials, structural analysis, material strength, precision engineering, vibration engineering, automatic control, nano/composite materials, virtual systems, and robotics.

The master’s program is designed to develop students’ academic research capabilities in their chosen fields based on a broad foundation of fundamental knowledge. The doctoral program aims to cultivate highly qualified experts by developing the capabilities and critical thinking skills required to conduct professional research and pursue independent research activities.
